I stayed in a charming thatched-roof hotel by a serene lake, perfect for lovely walks along the flood defences of the Elbe. the staff were friendly and the room, recently renovated, was clean and comfortable with outside seating space. I enjoyed a delicious dinner and a satisfying breakfast in the morning.

The noise within the room was a bit bothersome, perhaps due to the lack of soft furnishings like curtains and rugs.

Located by a small lake, great for walking along the flood defences. the outside seating space in the rooms was a nice touch. Breakfast was good too.

The newly renovated room was very noisy, and it definitely needed more soft furnishings. the restaurant was also closed on Mondays, so be sure to book another reservation ahead of time as other options may be fully booked.
